Cats & Dogs Photo Shooting
Many people place photos of their pets - cats, dogs or other animals - on their desk. We understand them, for all of our photographers are cat or dog owners, that’s why we treat pets with love. We shall always respect your pet's personality while taking a picture in studio or on location.
Pet Photography Peculiarities
Animals hate flashes. It is strongly advisable to shoot the pets (especially kittens, puppies and cats) using only pilot light of studio lighting equipment (at least when shooting indoors).
It takes time for your cat and dog to get used to the photographer and to the lighting equipment in photography studio.
The best possible lighting for photographing cats and dogs is achieved outside in natural light. However, Moscow is known for its broken weather, so it's difficult to plan and organize outdoor animal photoshooting. The professional photographer can come to your location with photo lighting equipment to take photos of your pet. However, it is possible to get high-quality pictures of cats, dogs and some other animals using only external camera flash covered with special soft-box.
Pet Photo Session Types
The basic pet photo session types are as follows:
- Mini photo session: 5-7 pictures made by photographer in photography studio or on location (using external camera flash covered with special soft-box) - USD 90 or RUB 2500 and up. The result is the pet’s portfolio of 5-7 photos written on CD. Light digital post work included.
- Pet’s portfolio. Professional photographer comes to your place with photographic lighting equipment to photo shoot your pet - USD 150 or RUB 3900. The result is the pet’s portfolio of 20-50 photos written on CD.
- Full cat’s or dog’s portfolio using professional photographic lighting equipment, digital postwork included. Multiple photo sessions may be required, USD 300 or RUB 8000 and up.
- Pet portraits. The photographer does deep hair retouching, complicated digital post work. Making such portraits takes as much time as making the whole cat’s or dog’s portfolio. Photo portrait of cat or dog is USD 20 or 600 RUB.
